I’m really not sure what my exact style is when it comes to my home but I know I love neutrals! I do have some pops of colours throughout my home but those are things that I usually change out every once and awhile or every few seasons.
Our home is just under 1,000 square feet. It’s a one bedroom open concept home that we completely renovated! When we first purchased this place it was a two bedroom, small bathroom, galley kitchen, and a completely unfinished basement. Enjoy my main floor home tour!
Kijiji Kitchen – Who would of thought you could get high end kitchens off of Kijiji. I will admit it takes time but with that being said there are a few wealthy people who want to get rid of their high end kitchen for something newer! You just need a little vision & DIY to pull it off. It’s a great way to get a high end granite kitchen for WAY less!
Decorative Pillows – Who isn’t obsessed with buying a bunch of pillows?! I know every time I come home with a new pillow my husband rolls his eyes! If you already have too many pillows I suggest shopping for pillow covers. They are easy to change up & often times cost less then buying a whole new pillow! You can also get them custom made. I bought some really inexpensive ones for H&M Home & I’m impressed with how they look! I’ve linked them below. Another really awesome place to purchase pillows / pillow covers is Tonic Living.

Real / Faux Plants – In my opinion plants are what gives a space life! They add style & character to each space. If you are afraid of killing the real ones, get some really good quality faux plants! Try to stay away from the faux plants that really do look faux. Maybe add in some real plants that are hard to kill! The mixture of faux and real plants is key to making the faux plants look more realistic.

Table / Random pieces throughout are house – I love going to Casa Alma! I connected with the owner Elizabeth back when I used to own an online clothing shop. She stocks the cutest home goods! You can visit her shop locally in Home Hardware in Port Hope. It’s a great place to get stylish pieces for your home! All while supporting local!

Wood Shelf – I wanted something simple, since I was hesitant to hang things on the walls. No kidding it took me over a year to nail into a wall. But I figured my white walls needed some character. This simple wood shelf is perfect because it’s easy to change out whatever you decided to put on it! I highly recommend a shelf like this.

Bedding – This is the first time I’ve splurge on bedding! I wanted something light and airy to brighten up our room. I thought this linen sand duvet cover was perfect! I really do love it. The only negative I have is it doesn’t have those little ties inside the duvet cover. You know the ones you can tie to your duvet to help keep it in place. I’m actually going to sew in some because our duvet slides down. Other then that this duvet is super comfy! They are a company from Montreal so I love that you can support local. I have even bought some cotton sheets from them and they are awesome too!
